DNA & Genealogy Discussion Group - Sat., June 11 @ 10 am

 The Johnson County Public Library is pleased to announce the second DNA & Genealogy Discussion Group of 2022 on Saturday, June 11, 10 am to noon via Zoom.

This series is presented in memory of beloved presenter, friend and colleague, Denise Anderson-Decina (1953-2022).

Discovering Ancestry DNA

Angela Guntz with the Central Indiana DNA Interest Group (CIDIG) will take us on a walkthrough of the AncestryDNA website. She will highlight how to use AncestryDNA’s tools, including:

• identifying and color-coding groups in your DNA matches
• exploring Thrulines
• using your ethnicity, including the new Sideview

After the program, Angela will answer questions on genetic genealogy subjects. Attendees are encouraged to share their DNA testing experiences and genealogical research.
